When you first decide that you want to go bike riding, what is the first thing you have to get? Well that’s a bike of course, you need one to go riding, but, secondly you must think about safety. Investing in a good helmet can save your life. How many of us have looked at bike riders and simply laughed at the way the rider looked wearing that silly helmet? I know I have. But the truth of the matter is, how much is your life worth? Will 25-50 be a good investment? When it comes to staying alive I say bring on the silly helmets.Didn-t catch that? This explains it. Automobile drivers have increasingly gotten worse at noticing bike riders, and an increase of accidents are on the rise. Safety must be taken seriously with all the household members who ride. It is important to start children off with safety in their minds when they begin to bike ride, this way when they grow up they will know the importance of investing in a durable helmet that could save their lives one day. We as adults must take the safety precautions seriously and be good role models for the youth. With the safety and durability of a good helmet, it will keep us all riding a little bit longer. So before you jump on that bike, make sure you you have your safety in mind, and when others point and laugh because you have a silly helmet on, well, I say laugh back and know in your head who the smart one is.
